End the Job Creator Lie

The Republicans keep trying to get tax cuts for the wealthy because they "Create Jobs". Not only does the theory of Supply-side economics not make sense, but the practice has proven that the wealthy do not create jobs because we give them more money, via tax breaks.  Before I spell out my plan to end the "Job Creator" lie, I would first like to define Supply-side economics.

Supply-side economics, also known as Trickle down economics or Voodoo economics was championed by the Republican Party's greatest hero Ronald Reagan.  I don't know if it first appeared during Reagan's administration, but I do know the Republicans couldn't tout it's benefits more. So, what is Supply-side economics? In my opinion it is the practice of giving the rich our money (non-rich people), in the form of tax breaks, so the rich can then give us non-rich people some of our money back . . . After we've done some work for them. In other words, we pay the rich to pay us less for us to labor for their benefit.

Now, I could blame Republicans solely for this practice, if they didn't have complicit partners in this immoral practice.  The truth however is that the party that seems to stand for the People has never been able to mount a reasonable defense against this redistribution of wealth.  Why is it that the Democrats cannot seem to argue the insanity of giving the rich even more money by taking it away from the rest of us?  After all, the rich already have enough money; They're rich, so they know how to get money, which implies that the don't need help getting more money and money doesn't seem to make them happy (if it did, millions or billions should do the trick), implying that they are hording it for some other reason, which wouldn't seem to bode well for the rest of us . . . unless you like lower wages, higher costs of living and all the bad that comes from the rest of having to share a smaller piece of the pie.  So, why is it that the Democrats cannot mount a defense against one of the biggest problems the world faces today?  Maybe the right question would be why do the Democrats choose to allow the Republicans make this claim year after year, decade after illogical decade?  Regardless of the answer to this question, I have devised a plan to not only rid the world of this immoral stance, but to provide an argument that no Republican could refute . . . At least not rationally.

Why not subsidize only those wealthy individuals, organizations or those businesses that actually create jobs. Why not end the give aways to the rich, via tax breaks, but still reward the "Job Creators" who do create jobs actual jobs, after they've created those jobs?  And, while we're at it, why not reward the "Job Creators" on a graduated scale, based on the size of the wages for any job that they've created.  So, if you create a job, we THE PEOPLE applaud your efforts and reward them and if you've created a good paying job, we'll reward you even more.

In this way, the American taxpayer can be saved a lot of money: As an example, let's say that instead of giving all of the supposed "Job Creators" tax breaks before they've created jobs, why don't we only give those individuals, organizations and businesses money after they've created jobs.  In that way, if only 20% of the all of the "Job Creators" actually create jobs, we've saved a lot of money that would have been given to the other 80% of "Job Creators" who didn't actually create jobs. This is why I have no faith in Republicans and little to no faith in Democrats: Why couldn't either party get support for an idea such as this, let alone come up with it in the first place.  But, as I always say:  The Republican party is the party that says and does crazy s#$t, while the Democratic party is the party the watches the Republicans say and do crazy s%&t.

And, one final thought:  If the job of the Job Creator is to create jobs, but they don't seem to be creating very many jobs, should we be paying them for this service . . . or non-service, as it is?
